Welcome to Agriturismo Il Poggio delle Favole, set in the heart of the Marche region, just 3 km from Cagli and a few minutes from the enchanting castle of Frontone. This is the perfect base for exploring the region’s highlights: the Frasassi caves, the UNESCO-listed art city of Urbino—birthplace of Raphael—and the medieval villages of the valley. Our farm is a lively, authentic place. You can meet our hens that lay colorful eggs, collected fresh daily for your table, observe our beehives where we produce artisanal honey, and stroll among fields of lavender, saffron, and seasonal vegetables. From our lavender, we craft lavender water and essential oil; our hand-grown saffron is of the highest quality. Nearby, you can hike CAI trails surrounded by nature, discover the historic Fontanone del Faeto, and admire the church of Santo Stefano from outside—currently under restoration—which offers views of Frontone castle. This is a great spot for walks and for enjoying an authentic dinner in its traditional tavern. The accommodation features a room with a king-size bed and a single bed, ideal for a couple with a child, with private bathroom for exclusive use, independent entrance, and minibar. The panoramic terrace offers breathtaking views of the countryside and Monte Catria. Outdoor area with barbecue, pond with goldfish and frogs, free parking, and Wi-Fi included.
